Meet Hannabelle Mendez – A Current student in the University of Mount St. Vincent / CITE program:

The University of Mount Saint Vincent’s Master of Science degree programs offer values-centered curricula and real-world experience. Students learn how to create a productive learning environment for a diverse range of educational settings and students, and develop the specialized knowledge to effectively teach different student populations while having a significant impact on students’ lives. Successful completion of this program and required certification exams lead to a master’s degree and teaching licenses in both general and special education at the Early Childhood level (Birth to Grade 2) or Childhood level (Grades 1 through 6).

Who is it for

The M.S. in General and Special Education program at UMSV is an accelerated program designed for working professionals, career changers, or recent college graduates looking to make a difference in the lives of children. Classes are conveniently held on weekends so that you can continue to work while you earn your degree. Our cohort model allows you to stay together with the same group of students throughout the program. Students receive a full course schedule upon admission, so you never have to worry about choosing and registering for courses.
